ALL ABOUT KEEL CLUB
Keel Club is the week-time young people’s group in Ballykeel Presbyterian Church. It began in September 1999 replacing our single sex, uniformed organisations. Through Keel Club we aim to provide a combination of activity and Christian instruction for children and young people in a safe environment.

Keel Club meets on Monday evenings
Keel Club has three sections according to age
Keel Club 1 is for girls and boys who are attending primary school and who are in P1 to P4. It meets from 7 until 8pm.
The programme includes Bible stories, games, singing, crafts and other activities suitable for children in this age group.
Keel Club 2 is for girls and boys who are attending primary school and who are in P5 to P7. It meets from 7 till 8pm.
The programme includes Bible stories, games, singing, crafts and other activities suitable for older primary children
Keel Club 3 - under review
The programme includes Bible teaching, discussion, games and activities designed for teenagers.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
When parents leave their children at any activity they should be contents that they will be well cared for. We are pleased to offer the following reassurances to all parents –
All Keel Club leaders are members of the church
The ratio of leaders to children will be sufficient to ensure proper supervision at all
activities
The guidelines on Child Protection approved by the Presbyterian Church in Ireland
will be followed
Parents will be informed of any changes in the programme and permission for their
child / children to take part will be obtained
ABOUT MONEY
There is no enrolment fee or weekly dues for membership in Keel Club. However, this means that when the leaders plan outings to venues that charge an entrance fee, Keel Club members will be asked to pay for this charge. Parents will be notified of these costs along with full details of the event.
